# a1-2097: hooked v4 WETH/native pools born 9-12 Oct, first cap and peak cap (ppdata, 12 Oct)

Window: 9 Oct 06:40 UTC to 12 Oct 01:25 UTC. Sources (main a1feed): v4init (all v4 Initialize events, starts 10 Oct 01:44 UTC), v4pools (9 Oct 06:40 to 10 Oct 01:44, only classes H3000 and A1, so hooked pools of other hooks born 9 Oct are NOT in the denominator), radar cross events (300k, 1M, 2M, 3M, 5M, 10M, 20M; cap_first = cap at first print).
Script and rows: /opt/crew/work/ppdata/a1_2097/a.py, rows.json.

## Counts
Hooked v4 pools quoted in native or WETH: **1,223** (1,211 tokens): 1,074 from v4init (10-12 Oct) + 149 from v4pools (9-10 Oct, H3000/A1 only).
Peak cap = highest radar threshold crossed (pools never crossing 300k are "<300k").

| Peak tier | pools | share of 1,223 |
|---|---|---|
| >= 300k | 69 | 5.6% |
| >= 1M | 25 | 2.0% |
| >= 3M | 13 | 1.1% |
| >= 5M | 8 | 0.65% |
| >= 10M | 4 | 0.33% |
| >= 20M | 3 | 0.25% |

## By first cap (only pools that crossed 300k have a measured cap_first)
| cap_first | pools crossing 300k | >=1M | >=3M | >=5M | >=10M | >=20M |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| < 30k | 40 | 11 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| < 100k | 52 | 18 | 8 | 4 | 1 | 0 |
| < 300k | 57 | 18 | 8 | 4 | 1 | 0 |

Base rate for hooked WETH/native entry at first cap <100k (denominator = all 1,223, nearly all of which start under 100k; exact first cap of the 1,150 never-crossing pools is not in the radar): **18/1,223 = 1.5% reach 1M, 8 = 0.65% reach 3M, 4 = 0.33% reach 5M, 1 reach 10M, 0 reach 20M.** Of pools that cross 300k with cap_first <100k: 35% reach 1M, 15% reach 3M, 8% reach 5M.
By quote: of the 25 pools at 1M+, WETH-quoted 19, native 6; the 4 pools at 10M+ are WETH (2) and native (2).

## Caveats
- Hit rate of "buy every hooked pool at first print" is ~1.5% to 1M: a blind entry loses on 98.5% of pools; it only works with a filter after the first minutes (the 300k cross is the filter that is already known: 35% to 1M).
- Denominator misses 9 Oct hooked pools of non-H3000/A1 hooks (v4init began 10 Oct 01:44). Pools with a hook that is a fake/duplicate name are not removed.
- Peak is threshold-bucketed (e.g. "2M" means 2M-3M). Peaks after 12 Oct 01:25 not yet seen; young pools may still climb.
- Runtrack/radar only prices pools it watches; no swap tape exists for the ~900 non-H3000/A1 hooked pools, so their first cap is unmeasured unless they crossed 300k.
- Every one of the 25 runners has its own one-off hook contract (25 distinct hooks, 24 with a single pool in the window). The 4 high-volume shared hooks (0x4e34.., 0x2c66.., 0xdbeb.., 0xfcd1.. = 633 pools) produced 0 pools at 1M+. A hook-address rule cannot find runners; a hook seen for the first time (hook_new in v4init) is the handle.
