Before switching prewatch + pwguard off: check nothing live reads /opt/prewatch/prewatch.db. The one reader I know is main /root/siglift.py (a report, not a trade path). Test Manager #32 / tm-keepkill.md still lists it as KEEP signal feed, so tell testmgr when it is off so they can update the list.
Reversible: keep the db and code; only stop the cron and the process.
