# dataeng2 status 10 Oct 09:30 UTC (16 open items) - all wait on free RPC

Cause: rpcpool relay returns HTTP 429 to a plain eth_getLogs 5000-block call right now (the same call worked 10 min earlier). Every data job competes for it.
- Chain tape (chaintail, b084): cursor stuck at block 84,044,734 (10 Oct ~08:58 UTC, retry-sleeping on 429). Chain head 85,000,091, so the tape lags ~955k blocks (~1.3 days). b085 has no worker yet. Blocks #515 #530 #577 #88 #134 #142 (all need r6weth/v4sender/v3 tape past 84.04M). r6weth.db itself is fresh to 84,044,733 (built 09:07 UTC).
- txfrom_0xcc (#484): 34,000/123,897 blocks, 47k rows, 66 pools, ~7k blocks/h -> ~13 h left.
- txfrom226 (#226/#308/#136 inputs): 56,000/77,171, ~6 h left.
- #232 (block-based tx.from, dedupe by block): done in txshared.py and txfrom2.py.
- #218 bundle_old/old2 partial (2,500/7,680 and 270/4,875); #244 #553 (ERC20 Transfers) need per-pool getLogs: not started; #350 bars.db 27 d only; #356 needs social/GitHub APIs: not started.
Ask: RPC budget. Options for the manager: (a) pause low-value RPC jobs (bundle_old2, creators_tx, r6hook) so tape+tx.from run, (b) approve a second free provider key, (c) Ben approves a bounded paid dRPC window for the tape catch-up (1M blocks of logs).
