# Brief: Proxima bundled launches (Ben, 10 Oct 2026)

Ben: "Proxima is the latest and best bundling software." Source post (UniswapVillain, 9 Oct): the tool Ravn now alerts on Proxima launches on all chains and detects wallets bought from Proxima's wallet marketplace.

## What Proxima is (from docs.proxima.tools, read 10 Oct)
- A launch and bundling tool: create the token, buy your own supply through many wallets, then run the market (auto-buy, volume bot, sells, withdraw).
- **It supports Robinhood:** flap.sh, hood.fun, klik.finance, long.xyz, meme.bid, o1.exchange, **pons.family**, stonks.fun, **Uniswap V2 and V3**, Flywheel, CoinBarrel, pools.trade, REAL, Livo. Also Solana, Arc, BNB, Ethereum and Base. So part of what we trade is probably Proxima launches.
- **Block-0 layering:**
  - "Front MEV" wallets buy in the deployment block. The count comes from a preset or is set by hand, with up to 12 on some launchpads.
  - An optional "Back MEV" buyback layer and optional temporary holder layers follow.
  - The Front MEV wallets then pass the supply on to "Holders" (final wallets) with set delays. On Pons the delays are per recipient.
- **Wallet marketplace:** devs can buy existing wallets filtered by funding age, transaction count, funding source (Binance, Bybit), activity timezone and funding gap. The aim is holders that look organic.
- **Fees:** 5% of the sale proceeds on every sell made through Proxima. If that 5% goes to one fee address on chain, it is a perfect fingerprint. The docs do not say where it goes.
- Proxima itself says its anti-detection is "not a guarantee", so its launches should leave patterns.

## Tests
1. **Detect Proxima launches on Robinhood Chain (Data Engineer + Analyst 2).**
   - Look for this pattern: several wallets buy in the deployment block, then hand tokens to fresh or aged holder wallets on a delay, then sell, with a share of each sell's ETH going to one recurring address.
   - Find that recurring fee address across launches. If it exists, every launch whose wallets pay it is Proxima, with no guessing.
   - Also flag "marketplace wallets": aged wallets with a funding gap, funded from a CEX, dormant, then suddenly holding a new token.
   - Output: a proxima flag (and confidence) per pool since 13 Sep, the bundle wallets per pool, and the share of supply they hold.
2. **Outcome test (Analyst 2).** Compare Proxima coins with the rest: rug rate, runner rate, our 5-Min Cap results on them, and the time from launch to the first bundle sell. Then decide: avoid them, or trade them differently.
3. **Ride-the-bundler test (Analyst 1, new family).**
   - A bundled dev wants the price up before selling. Buy early on Proxima coins.
   - Exit the moment the bundle wallets start selling. We know their addresses from block 0, so we watch them live.
   - Measure on 30 days: entry at +X s, exit at the first bundle-wallet sell (or a target), versus the 5-Min Cap exit on the same coins.
   - If it works, Test Manager runs it as a paper test with a live "bundle wallet sold" exit. PP Feeds then needs a wallet-watch feed.
4. **As a filter on every other test:** add "skip Proxima" and "only Proxima" arms where the sample allows.

## Notes
- Ravn already does this detection. If Ben has Ravn access, its alerts give us labelled examples to check our detector against.
- Free data only: our swap and transfer tapes, the tx.from table being built, and token transfers in block 0.
