### METHOD TRAP repeated from the FUN screen the same day
**MARSCOIN would be INVISIBLE to a naive "find coins paired against a stock" screen**, because in its deepest pool (liq $1.92M) the pair is **SPCXB / MarsCoin with MARSCOIN as the QUOTE token**. It is big enough that the tokenized stock is priced in it, not the other way round. So the category screen must run BOTH directions: base-side (coin quoted against a bStock) and quote-side (a bStock quoted against the coin). Same lesson as the FUN quote-asset miss on LAUNCHWATCH.
- Its link to the stock is a **reward mechanism, not the pairing**: 3% of volume buys SPCXB and distributes it to wallets holding 10,000+ MARSCOIN.
- Coverage caveat: DexScreener returns at most 30 pairs per token, and on HOODB 27 of 30 were quote-side, so the tail of the category is truncated. The truncation is all at the sub-$150k end, so the ranking above is safe at the top.
- Garbage readings to discard: SPYB printed a $281,009,322,900 mcap and SUMMER printed $1,439,620,225 of pool liquidity, both from near-empty pools. Always sanity-check a mcap against pool depth before quoting it.

## 8 Sep 2026, SECOND CORRECTION: the bStock seed list was 24 of 72. Rebuilt from the issuer.

- ROOT CAUSE, stated plainly: the quote-asset list was HAND-TYPED from tickers I could remember. It was never enumerated from a source. A category ranking built on a typed quote list silently deletes every coin under every quote token you failed to type. That is exactly how 牛来 vanished.

Never rank a "coins paired against X" category from a typed list again. Run the script.

It (1) samples the chain's top and newest pools plus the seeds' pools and DISCOVERS the quote family by closure, promoting any token that >=4 distinct coins trade against; (2) pulls up to 200 pools per family member from GeckoTerminal (DexScreener caps at 30 and truncates); (3) counts BOTH sides of every pool, so a coin big enough to be the quote token is still caught; (4) applies three reject gates: liquidity under $20k, market cap over 300x pool liquidity, and under 50% of liquidity in-family.
**PRE-DELIVERY GATE, all four before any category ranking is sent:**
1. Did the quote-asset list come from a script or a published source, never from my own recall? If typed, STOP.
2. Was every pool counted in BOTH directions?
3. Does every market cap survive mcap/liquidity < 300, and is every liquidity figure cross-checked against a second source?
4. Does the run reproduce the known control case, 牛来 0xBEEA1D618e533a387D941F58a7d4c9b7bD377777 at rank 2?

## STANDING LESSON for narrative work
- **Ask "who owns this story" BEFORE pulling any on-chain number.** A memecoin's bull case is a person plus a distribution channel, not a contract. On MARSCOIN the whole thesis is: unipcs + 500k fomo followers + Binance's listing funnel.
- **Zero tier-one coverage was a FALSE reading here.** A parenthesised multi-`from:` X query returned empty through the browser; a single `from:theunipcs marscoin` returned six posts in 48 hours. Never conclude "no KOL coverage" from one compound query. Run one query per handle.
