# The source
- [stated] Ben, 12 Sep 2026, sent `https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PNFmBrXJEs` and asked for the gist plus an explanation of the liquidity-pair dominance principle: "I don't quite understand if it would have to be a Mu pair with different stocks, but why would people trade? Who is interested in tokenized stocks? Why would they be interested in trading a Mu pair?"
- Video: "$MOO: A memory chip stock meme coin on the Long ecosystem", channel MCG, 45 min, uploaded 11 Sep 2026. Transcript via yt-dlp auto-captions (`--write-auto-subs --sub-langs en`), 8,370 words. **Auto-captions were available on this one, so no whisper pass was needed.** Ben heard "Mu"; the coin is **MOO**, the memecoin paired to tokenized Micron (MU).

# What the MOO operator actually said
- He did NOT launch MOO, it was a **CTO** (community takeover). He took it over because the ticker hit a Wall Street Bets in-joke ("going to the cattle farm" = taking a Micron position) and because he traded memory stocks in equities before crypto.
- **The plan: launch MOO again and again against DIFFERENT tokenized memory stocks.** Not the AI model (where new memecoins launch against AI as the base asset). MOO pairs with SNDK, SKHY and other memory stocks, then LONG's infra connects the pools so arbitrage runs between them.
- **His stated reason MOO cannot copy AI: "AI is the Bitcoin of stock-paired memecoins, I position MOO more as Ethereum."** AI already has the status and the liquidity to run the flywheel; MOO has to build a liquidity layer instead.
- **He names the missing leg himself**, and this is the most important line in the interview: *"no one is going to buy ETH just in order to buy a Micron on chain... they will use stable coins and you also have to have an existing stable coin and stock pool there to fulfil the route."*
- **He admits LPs hijacked his flow.** FOMO routes in stablecoins, so smart LPs bought MOO, built their own stablecoin/MOO pools and took the volume. He calls it "a net positive" because it completes the route he would otherwise have had to fund.
- Honest markers, and Ben read him right: **no contact with the Robinhood team at all** ("I wish I could lie"), no timeline ("soon TM"), won't detail the tech stack for fear of being front-run, and says the original idea (an on-chain ETF on top of the community vault) was talked down by Nate, who told him to bootstrap liquidity first.
- Roadmap given: next pool is MOO plus one more memory stock, "coming week or weeks", with custom pool parameters being tested with LONG so trades actually route through it. Asset choice depends on existing liquidity for that stock.
- The MCG host's own framing, which is the part to be careful with: *"by nature of us having 40, 50, 60, 70% of the on-chain liquidity, their swaps and routes have to go through us."* That number was the HOST's, not the operator's.

# The on-chain check, 12 Sep 2026. The toll booth is not built.
| what | measured |
|---|---|
| MOO market cap | $28,210,891 at $0.02853, **-10.7% 24h, 770 buys vs 1,414 sells** |
| MOO liquidity, all 22 pools | $2,595,591, vol24 $7,044,142 |
| MOO/MU pool | $1,711,975 liq, $2,300,320 vol24 |
| **MOO share of ALL on-chain MU liquidity** | **27.1%**, not 40 to 70% |
| **MU/USDG, two pools combined** | **$2,634,831 = 41.7%**, bigger than MOO's |
| total on-chain MU liquidity | $6,319,946 |
| **on-chain tokenized MU market cap** | **$697,250** |

- **THE STRUCTURAL POINT. The direct stablecoin route is DEEPER than the MOO route, so the router bypasses MOO.** A trader going USDG to MU takes one hop through a $2.63M pool. Going USDG to MOO to MU is two hops, two fees, against a $1.71M pool. MOO is not the toll booth; it is the scenic route. The hijack the operator described is not a quirk, it is the market routing around him.
- **A liquidity toll booth requires owning the scarce leg. MOO does not own MU.** Micron is tokenized by Robinhood; anyone can open a MU/USDG pool permissionlessly, and someone with more capital already did. There is no moat to defend, only a lead to lose.
- **MOO is 40x the market cap of the entire asset it wants to be the liquidity hub for.** $28.2M of memecoin sitting on a $697,250 on-chain float. The equity flow he wants to onboard has nowhere near enough tokenized supply to land in.
- MOO's real revenue today is fees on the MOO/MU pool, and MOO/USDG ($509,025 liq, $1,810,108 vol24) plus MOO/WETH ($213,120 liq, $2,033,974 vol24, 9.5x turnover) show the volume is people **trading MOO**, not people routing to MU through MOO.

# The expansion is already squatted
- **SNDK (SanDisk): $1,201,006 on-chain liquidity, mcap $1,723,204. CACHE/SNDK ($285,395) and CANAL/SNDK ($133,193) are ALREADY LIVE and trading.** Someone took the SanDisk lane before MOO got there.
- **SKHY (SK Hynix): $650,824 liquidity, mcap $923,679, and FIVE memecoin pairs already exist** (WIFE, KOSPI, SKHYNET, SAMSUNG, KWAK), all tiny and nearly volumeless.
- **DRAM: zero pools on chain.** The ETF he named as a target does not exist as a tradable on-chain asset.
- So "first mover across the memory complex" is already partly false. MOO is first only in MU.

# What to actually price
- **The near-term tradable event is mechanical, not narrative: each new MOO pair has to be seeded with MOO bought off the open market.** That is real, dated buy pressure in the next week or weeks, and it is the honest reason to be long into the announcement.
- The routing-monopoly endgame needs on-chain tokenized-stock float to grow 10x to 100x. **That is a Robinhood decision, not a MOO decision**, and MOO has no relationship with Robinhood. Treat it as optionality on someone else's roadmap, never as MOO's own execution.
- Generalisable, and it applies to every "we will own the liquidity for X" pitch on this chain: **check the stablecoin pair for the underlying first.** If a direct stable pool for the asset is deeper than the memecoin pool, the memecoin is not in the route and the whole thesis is decoration. One DexScreener call settles it.
- The host's other good point, which survives the check: **memory is the only vertical on long.xyz that people genuinely want to trade.** AMC, HIMS and the rest have no sector behind them. So if any of these coins can build a real lane, MOO is the best-positioned candidate. That is a different and much weaker claim than "monopoly".

# 12 Sep 2026 later: the value-accrual math Ben asked to keep, and the two-hop handicap

## Correction to [[rh-arena-vaults]]
That file's 4 Sep table said the MOO vault "holds 10,036,727 MOO + 61.72 MU = $375,490". **Wrong label: 10,036,727 was the BURN total, not the holding, and the $375,490 does not reconcile with either.** Live at block 61,138,667 (12 Sep 13:23 UTC):
- MOO `totalSupply` **989,091,880.10** (from 1,000,000,000) so **burned = 10,908,119.90 = 1.09% of supply**. The token uses a real `_burn`, so burns cut supply and never rest at 0x0. `balanceOf(0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000)` = 490,602.45 is a SEPARATE pile of manual transfers. `0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD` = 0.
- **Method note: on a token with a real burn function, never read the burn off balanceOf(0x0). Read `1e27 wei of original supply minus totalSupply`.** Both numbers are needed; they are different things.
- Vault `0x31a3edf92b49407c04215d4b744f231460a2da32` actually holds **10,901,308.84 MOO + 99.8584 MU ≈ $316k**.

## THE VALUE-ACCRUAL MODEL Ben asked to remember (applies to any vault-and-burn token, not just MOO)
Burn velocity from two clean supply reads: 10,036,727 (3 Sep 19:23) to 10,908,120 (12 Sep 13:23) = **+871,393 MOO in 8.75 days = 99,588 MOO/day**.

| | 12 Sep 2026 |
|---|---|
| burn/day | 99,588 MOO = **$2,762** at $0.02774 |
| annualised burn | $1,008,268 |
| MOO mcap | $27,437,409 (989,091,880 x $0.02774) |
| **burn yield** | **3.67%/yr** |
| MOO pools vol24 | $7,080,951 |

**The identity: value = volume routed through the token's own pools x fee x vault share. It is LINEAR in volume. No hidden leverage.** So holding the yield constant, mcap scales 1:1 with routed volume:

| vol through MOO pools | annual burn | mcap at same 3.67% yield | multiple |
|---|---|---|---|
| $7.1M/day (today) | $1.0M | $27M | 1x |
| $21M/day | $3.0M | $82M | 3x |
| $71M/day | $10.1M | $275M | **10x** |
| $213M/day | $30.4M | $822M | 30x |

**Second lever, and it is the only non-linear one: the RE-RATE.** If the market stops pricing it as a memecoin and prices it as infrastructure it accepts a lower yield (1.8% vs 3.67%), which is another 2x on top. So realistic bull case = 10x volume x 2x re-rate = 20x.

## THE TWO-HOP HANDICAP, quantified. This is the answer to "why not just build the direct pool"
- [stated] Ben, 12 Sep: "they're trying to basically make it work with the handicap of having to include the MOO token. Wouldn't anyone else who doesn't need to include the MOO token, like some market maker, just have it easier?"
- Cost of a swap = fee + price impact. Impact on constant product ~ 2x/L. So:
  - direct: `fee_d + 2x/D`
  - two-hop: `fee_1 + fee_2 + 2x/L1 + 2x/L2`
- **To TIE on impact alone, each leg must be 2x the depth of the direct pool, so the two-hop needs 4x THE TOTAL CAPITAL.** That handicap is arithmetic and cannot be engineered away.
- Live depths 12 Sep: direct **MU/USDG `0xd057B1Bc54917855BBee58eAd58647f47caB35E5` = $1,886,798 and it is UNISWAP V3**. MOO legs: MOO/USDG `0x85a3cd053eecbcf2a67fd2c391479a2267e237edcea3acf19609b329e3a482fa` $497,355 and MOO/MU `0xc3cc877a8a7d28efdb5dbec9ae71724652431e6411aa1a9fc8928028da554aa1` $1,662,901, both **V4**. Total $2,160,256 against a $7,547,192 requirement = **29% of the way there**.
- **Crossover trade size today, if MOO's v4 legs run near-zero fees against a 0.30% v3 direct pool: ~$672.** Below that the MOO route genuinely wins; above it the direct pool wins and the gap widens linearly. Fees are size-independent, impact is not, so **cheap fees capture the small-trade TAIL and deep pools capture the VOLUME.** A fee rebate cannot buy a $10,000 trade at these depths: the required fee is negative.
- **THE ONE NUMBER THAT PROVES THE TOLL BOOTH IS BEING BUILT: MOO/USDG depth vs MU/USDG depth.** $497,355 vs $1,886,798 today. When MOO/USDG crosses MU/USDG the route flips and the thesis turns real. One DexScreener call. Check it weekly.

## WHERE LONG'S ACTUAL EDGE IS, and it is not plumbing
- The v4-vs-v3 point is real but small: the incumbent direct pool has a **fee locked at creation**, MOO's v4 pools can run dynamic or rebated fees via a hook. That wins the tail, not the volume. And nothing stops anyone deploying a v4 MU/USDG pool; one already exists at $747,617.
- **The only genuine moat is COST OF CAPITAL.** A market maker funding MU/USDG needs a market return on real dollars. MOO's LPs are people who want MOO exposure anyway and are paid in the token. LONG can rent liquidity at near zero, the MM cannot. Same mechanism as Curve/veCRV.
- **That edge is REFLEXIVE, not structural: it works while the token is rising and stops when it is not.** Price it as a lead to lose, never as a moat.
- Falsifier for the whole thesis, unchanged and now sharper: **burn stalls (totalSupply stops falling from 989,091,880) or MOO/USDG depth stops closing on MU/USDG.**

# 12 Sep 2026: LONG's "biggest release" was PRE-IPO PAIRS, not a routing upgrade. And AI vs MOO are structurally different.
- [stated] Ben, 12 Sep: "Long just announced additional pools for AI... largest upgrade they've done in their history... I'm assuming something similar will come to Mu... Are AI and MOO different in terms of how they're being positioned, or are they doing the same thing just with different stocks?"
- **Ben's premise was half right. The release was NOT a routing or pool-parameter upgrade for AI. It was PRE-IPO PAIRS.** @longdotxyz 11 Sep 23:29 (568 likes, 154,020 views): *"Pre-IPO pairs are now live on LONG. Starting with OpenAI and Anthropic. Pre-IPO pairs are powered by @Lighter_xyz perps. We've also bootstrapped AI paired pools with: Anthropic1x, OpenAI1x, NVDA3x. Perps-based pairs use a different customized liquidity design, with lower depth to scale the liquidity for early markets."*
- @Natan_benish 12 Sep 05:43 (249 likes, 20,471 views), the rundown: *"biggest release we had so far with LongX... ~$1m in deposits was added to @Lighter_xyz on OpenAI + Anthropic OI (~10%). 18m vol on OPENAI/USDG pool, 14.6m vol on Anthropic/USDG pool... We also used a new liquidity config on the Pre IPO pairs... Next steps: Bootstrap liq on the related AI pairs as well, increase total TVL, **start rolling it out with different top pairs on LONG**."* That last clause is the MOO-relevant one.
- Also live 11 Sep: **new launch factory** with *"Permanent ticker locks for selected assets, with more added over time based on asset age, sustainable price action, and ticker uniqueness."* MOO should qualify. Anti-vamp protection, small but real.

## THE STRUCTURAL POINT, and it is the answer to Ben's question. AI IS THE NUMERAIRE, MOO IS A TENANT.
| | $AI | $MOO |
|---|---|---|
| role | the ecosystem's BASE ASSET. New synthetics (NVDA3x, OpenAIx1L, ANTHROPICx1L) launch paired **against AI** | a memecoin paired **against** a stock (MU) |
| who pays it | LONG's protocol fees. @longdotxyz 7 Sep: *"~$135K of NVDA added... representing nearly 100% of recent app fees accrued from NVDA-related markets"*, total NVDA in market $3.5M, and the v4 LP NFT *"will be transferred to an immutable contract, locking the liquidity forever"* | its own pool fees into its own vault, ~$2,762/day |
| mcap 12 Sep | **$327,880,171**, +22.9% on the day of the release | $27,437,409, -12.9% |
| agg liquidity / vol24 | $6,931,836 / $38,976,833 | $2,557,084 / $7,080,951 |
- **So they are NOT doing the same thing with different stocks.** AI is the currency of the platform and every new LONG product is engineered to accrue to it. MOO is one pair among many that rents the platform.

## THE NEW LOW-DEPTH LIQUIDITY CONFIG, measured. It is real, and it has a precondition.
| pool | liq | vol24 | turnover |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI/OPENAIx1L (v4) | **$11,074** | **$1,163,989** | **105x** |
| AI/ANTHROPICx1L (v4) | $1,204 | $426,718 | 354x |
| MOO/MU (v4), for contrast | $1,662,901 | $2,317,213 | 1.4x |
- **WHY it works, and this is the constraint: these are perp-backed synthetics with a mint/redeem NAV anchor on Lighter.** Arbitrageurs continuously pin the pool to NAV, so the pool does not need depth to hold its price. **This does NOT transfer to a plain constant-product pool with no external anchor**, so it does not repeal the 4x-capital two-hop math above for MOO/MU. MU is a real Robinhood-tokenized stock, not a LongX synthetic.
- **For MOO to get this, LONG would have to ship a leveraged MU asset (an "MU3x") via LongX, which needs Lighter to run an MU perp market.** That is the concrete, checkable precondition. Unresolved as of 12 Sep.

## THE CATCH, and it is the sharpest bear point on the whole "MOO gets the upgrade" thesis
- **@longdotxyz 1 Sep 01:19 (564 likes, 381,231 views), LongX launch, point 6 verbatim: *"Fees generated from NVDA3x LP activity, minting and pair activity accrue back to $AI."*** So LongX products are engineered to feed **AI**, not the paired memecoin. If MOO gets a LongX pair, whether MOO's vault sees any of that fee is **UNCONFIRMED and should be assumed no until LONG says otherwise.** MOO could get the product and AI could get the revenue.
- **Nate is also actively cooling the "biggest pair on stock X" pitch, which is MOO's exact thesis.** @Natan_benish 11 Sep 08:43: *"mid-large caps stocks can have multiple good pairs on LONG. But value prop needs to go beyond I'm the biggest pair on Stock A. Something we haven't seen yet are thematic pairs."* MOO is not promised exclusivity on Micron.
- @Natan_benish 12 Sep 06:43 on being asked to bless demothree: *"no one in the world can force me or LONG to king-make an asset and make it official. We will keep supporting the eco as a whole."* Read this as the standing temperature on any MOO anointment expectation.
