# Nest (makeanest.fun) — discovered 5 Sep 2026 on the COMMOTITTES screen

X: @nestpadrh. Tagline "One coin. Many stocks."

## What it actually is
- **Not a fork and not a new AMM.** Every Nest coin is an ordinary Pons V2 launch against factory `0x7eD598BcEf8bd9Edd8C97A195C6d13f40801EC7e`. Token contract is `PonsV2LauncherToken`: OpenZeppelin ERC20 + ERC20Burnable, fixed 1,000,000,000 supply minted entirely to the bonding curve. **No mint, owner, pause, blacklist or transfer tax anywhere in the token.**
- **Nest's only addition is where the creator fees go.** It names a per-coin vault as the Pons `creatorFeeRecipient`. The vault harvests fees from the Pons escrow `0xd3AFEB2a57f70eF218Aa82451c51B2fb0416Ac9e` and swaps them into a weighted basket of Robinhood Chain tokenized Stock Tokens (1 to 8 legs, weights sum to 100%, set once, immutable).
- So a Nest coin is a memecoin with a slowly growing, verifiable stock/commodity floor underneath it. **Burn-to-redeem is a floor, not a yield.**

## Fee table (read from the factory, live 5 Sep 2026)
| Fee | Rate | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Base trade fee | 1.00% on the quote leg, both directions | 30% Pons, 70% the creator-fee recipient (the vault) |
| Creator tax | 0 to 10.00%, set per launch | the vault, in full |
| Anti-snipe tax | 99% decaying to 0 over 3 seconds (14 halvings: 99% at t0, 6.18% at +1s, 0.19% at +2s) | stays in the curve |
| Launch fee | 0.0005 ETH | Pons |
| Harvest bounty | 1.00%, capped 0.02 ETH | whoever calls harvest |
| Claim / redeem | none | — |
- **Effective take to the vault at a 1% creator tax is ~1.7% of traded volume.** Verified on COMMOTITTES: $10,258 of stock bought from ~$597k of first-hour volume = 1.72%.
- Creator split of the harvest is capped at 50% and fixed at launch. `creatorSplitBps()` on the vault is the number that matters: 0 means the creator takes nothing and everything goes to holders.

## Curve and graduation
- Virtual quote reserve 1.68 ETH, graduation threshold 4.2 ETH real quote (per pair token; USDG is 3,236 / 8,090, NVDA 16.64 / 41.6).
- The curve reserves 28.5714% of supply and can never sell below it. At graduation: **71.43% held by curve buyers, 20.41% seeds the Uniswap V4 pool with the full 4.2 ETH, 8.16% permanently locked** in the Pons locker.
- Pool is Uniswap V4 on PoolManager `0x8366a39CC670B4001A1121B8F6A443A643e40951` behind Pons hook `0xE5e702641Ea86F4ae6cC3cDaeD2B886f976Be044`, tick spacing 200, **static LP fee 0 because the hook is the fee policy**. Nobody owns the position, no unlock date.
- Nest does not read V4 pool state, so a graduated coin's Nest page shows no price. Use DexScreener for price/liq/volume on graduated coins.

## Vault generations
- **v1 burn-to-redeem only.** Send x coin, get x/S of everything the vault holds. MAG7 is v1 forever.
- **v2 merkle claims.** Time-weighted (balance x time held, an integral not a snapshot), cumulative leaves, 24h delay before a root can pay, one root in flight, protocol addresses excluded from the denominator. MEMESTREET is v2. Vault `0xE36A29A3B71a3fFA531d21e3F8B0dc818544bF75`.
- **v3 same claims plus USDG routes**, so a basket can hold any Stock Token with a WETH or USDG pool. **Every new launch routes through `0xf89E4cb135758DED3E56Ab5d0C57aB5EF863fc04`**, which is what shows up as `deployer()` on new Nest tokens.
- Trust limit, stated honestly in their own docs: a bad merkle root can misallocate assets harvested since the previous root plus uncollected old entitlements. Bounded, slow, public for 24h. `node scripts/verify-epoch.mjs --vault 0xVAULT --epoch N` re-derives a root from chain data.

## Measured backing ratios, 5 Sep 2026 ~07:30 UTC
| coin | contract | vault | backing | mcap | backing % |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| COMMOTITTES | 0xF9E04be607E30020526E6Bbb45E5b754aAb888E3 | 0x76Df63aa3878987AfF589965060aCE7A42Ca7EC6 | $10,258 (GLD 50 / SLV 50) | $218,606 | 4.69% |
| MAG7 | 0xfa0653c203C4c73Bf89bA357369Cec6991E4d8D2 | 0x1017D5aE04ca1C8577eD4Fbe3E58a997af3DE0F4 | $3,860 | $132,882 | 2.90% |
| SP69000 | 0xAF793D64831922ca7a7D56feEdFcE14A27A2BBA7 | 0x9a4f97dd2788F535c1eB5523b582f8C756f6EF14 | $1,305 | $67,483 | 1.93% |
| COMPUTE | 0xa45C124Ffae66b7dEE8f18dEb95C181CE02Bf9Dd | 0xa4512E2085944C1e4B0491D00Ad594277Be95bA0 | $0 unharvested | $58,914 | 0.00% |
- **Backing ratio is the single best screen metric on this pad**, and it is only readable on chain: `balanceOf` each stock token at the vault, price via DexScreener `tokens/v1/robinhood/...`.
- Platform scale at discovery: 27 coins launched, 4 graduated, $17.5K total bought into stocks across all vaults. Tiny. COMMOTITTES alone was ~59% of it.

## Method notes
- Vault address is not exposed by a getter on the token. Scrape `https://makeanest.fun/coin/{ca}` for candidate addresses, then call `coin()` on each and match the token. Works every time.
- Token metadata lives on the token itself: `description()`, `logo()`, `socials()`, `deployer()`, `curve()`, `launchFactory()`.
- Stock token addresses found this way: **GLD `0xC9a981FEE1F9DEc688bb123ccDeCc63D0deBFC4e`** ("SPDR Gold Trust • Robinhood Token", $407.85, liq $4.83M) and **SLV `0x411eFb0E7f985935DAec3D4C3ebaEa0d0AD7D89f`** ("iShares Silver Trust • Robinhood Token", $60.05, liq $486k).
- 194 verified Stock Tokens exist on the chain; 40 are approved as curve pair tokens; 42 are in Nest's basket registry.
- Blockscout `?module=account&action=tokenlist&address={vault}` returns the whole basket in one call. `/api/v2/.../counters` was Cloudflare-gated this session while v1 worked.
- `pons.fun` is not reachable from the Cowork container (egress proxy rejects it). The Nest docs page carries the full Pons V2 parameter set instead.

## Vault powers, read from bytecode 5 Sep 2026. One doc claim is FALSE.
- Each vault is an **EIP-1167 minimal proxy clone** (46 bytes) pointing at implementation `0xcb20f057fe2f84bc3759e86aec94c07af36b637b` (18,022 bytes). The implementation is hardcoded in the clone bytecode, so **there is genuinely no upgrade path.**
- Selector scan of the implementation: **PRESENT** `redeem(uint256)`, `claim(address,address[],uint256[],bytes32[])`, `creatorSplitBps()`, `rootPublisher()`, `setRootPublisher(address)`, `creator()`, `coin()`, `CLAIM_DELAY()`, `HARVEST_BOUNTY_BPS()`. **ABSENT** `owner()`, `transferOwnership(address)`, `pause()`, `upgradeTo(address)`, `sweep(address)`, `withdraw(address,uint256)`, `rescue(address)`. **Nobody can pull the assets out. Confirmed at the bytecode level, not taken from the docs.**
- **CORRECTION TO THE DOCS. The site says "A root pays nothing for 24 hours". On chain `CLAIM_DELAY()` returns 300 on every v3 vault checked (COMMOTITTES, SP69000, COMPUTE). That is 5 minutes, not 24 hours: the stated safety window is overstated 288x.** The docs sell that delay as one of the three things bounding a malicious root, so this materially weakens the trust model. Always read `CLAIM_DELAY()` rather than repeating the docs figure.
- **`rootPublisher()` is the SAME address on every v3 vault: `0x2734303fd81283c9431b1d975cb51d6712f81866`.** That is Nest's own keeper, not the individual coin creators. So one Nest-controlled key decides every coin's payout split, and `setRootPublisher(address)` lets a coin's creator rotate it. Burn-to-redeem via `redeem(uint256)` is the only path that needs no permission from anyone.
- `HARVEST_BOUNTY_BPS()` = 100 (1.00%), matching the docs. `creatorSplitBps()` = 0 on COMMOTITTES, SP69000, COMPUTE and MAG7, so on every coin checked so far the creator takes nothing from the harvest.
