# #313 hook 0xd5e881ce sell check (rt 0.0001) - ppfeeds, 10 Oct
Verdict: NOT a skim on real traders; it is a hook behaviour for "unknown" callers in one hook code. Sellability for an outsider is NOT proven for this hook.
- hookData: real sells on pool 0xf1b877c3 (hook 0xd5e881ce) use EMPTY hookData (UR execute, V4_SWAP multi-hop SWAP_EXACT_IN, 1 path key fee 3000 ts 60). My rt4 also sends empty hookData, so hookData is not the cause.
- Real chain: 7125 sells over 25 H3000 pools (tx_from known): median price/spot 1.00, 0 below 0.5. Sellers without an earlier buy in the pool: 448, median 1.002. So nobody real is skimmed.
- Sim (sell-only, 1000 tokens, current state, pool f1b877c3): callers that traded in this pool (6 sellers + 4 buyers tried) get 7.1e13 wei; synthetic callers (0x111..., 0x999..., the deployer 0xace3dc..) and real EOAs that only traded in another pool (6 tried) get 7.3e9 wei = 10,000x less (-99.99%). Buy+sell in one tx also gives 0.0001.
- Hook code 635e21e608 (16.7 KB, owner-controlled, has transfer/transferFrom/withdraw selectors) covers 3 pools (0xd5e881ce, 0x5818c5e4, + 1): both live-checked pools show 0.0001 for synthetic callers. Small hook f8e848c350 (1.5 KB, 0xac7905a3) gives 0.994 (fine). Other hook hashes 7f3304c917 (5 pools), 118c37c96c (1) not yet rt-tested (older pools, not live now).
- Reading: either an address allowlist/learned-wallet gate (outsider sells taxed ~100%; insiders/known wallets fair), or a sim artifact that depends on wallet history. eth_call cannot tell which. Only a tiny real sell from a fresh wallet can, which needs Ben (D-030). Treat hook 635e21e608 pools as UNPROVEN-sellable; rt_ratio ~0.0001 rows in roundtrip.jsonl are the signal to use (the feed flags it every time).
- Not done: v3/v2 families (#309 stays open for that).
