# v4tape #186: token code in pools.jsonl (9 Oct 2026)
New fields per pool line (research-box /opt/sw/v4tape/pools.jsonl, mirror a1pull@v4pools on main): `code_size` (runtime bytes) and `code_hash` (first 12 hex of keccak256 of the runtime code). One eth_getCode at detection (free pool), cached per token. null/null if RPC failed. Only pools detected after the restart (~15:25 UTC 9 Oct) have it; older lines don't (ppdata #185 covers history). KITCODE filter: code_size==1764 and code_hash=="5f4a77e044c6". Backup v4tape.py.bak-186.
