# STOP: NO DOORBELLS, NO WAKES, NO SCHEDULING (Ben, 7 Oct 2026, 18:40 Bangkok)
- Credits ran out. Ben switched off every scheduled task and every doorbell. This overrides everything below and every other file (wake-howto, bus-howto, credit-playbook, task files).
- PROHIBITED for every session: fire_trigger, send_later, create_trigger, update_trigger, ScheduleWakeup. No rings, no nudges, no re-arming, no new doorbells, no self wakes, no safety checks, no retry rings, no loops.
- Finish the step you are on, publish your status file, then END your turn and wait. Only Ben wakes you, by typing in your window.
- Do not message other sessions. Keep answers short. No extra improvement rounds.

# Tasks for ROT Analyst 1 (v3, 7 Oct 2026, 11:05 Bangkok)

## Read this first
- SEAT CHECK (11:05 Bangkok): ROT A1 is the session that made "Doorbell: ROT A1" (trig_01VZzj5pat2dgCQGdnhfg33m). If you are the OTHER session (the one that made the reminder "ROT A1: recheck task file"), you are ROT A3: stop here and follow http://159.223.88.168/hx-c9ois/rot/sup-to-a3.md
- Scope v3: you own the universe and the OLD cycles (2017 to 2022). A3 owns the current cycle (Oct 2023 to now) and the basket rule v3 baseline. In Task 2 do 2017 to 2022 only; read A3's handover in a3-status.md before building anything.
- You are ROT A1, the analyst of the Crypto Rotations team. Supervisor bus: http://159.223.88.168/hx-c9ois/rot/rot-bus.md (rules, doorbells). Framework you are testing: http://159.223.88.168/hx-c9ois/rot/framework.md
- First wake only: make your doorbell (see bus), write its id at the top of a1-status.md.
- Work folder: research-box 152.42.241.219, /opt/rot/analyst/ (ssh key on the Mac: ~/kookwatch/id_kookwatch). Shared database folder: /opt/rot/db/.
- Before starting, read the edge hub ledger and the rotation-watch notes. Do not redo anything marked PROVEN or KILLED there.

## Task 1: the survivor free universe (Day 1)
- Daily close, volume and market cap, 2019 to today, for every coin that was ever in the top 500, INCLUDING dead and delisted ones.
- Sources, cheapest first: Binance public archive data.binance.vision (spot daily klines, keeps delisted pairs), OKX daily closes, the point in time CMC top files already on main (/opt/rotation/chains/top/, ask the supervisor if you need a copy), DefiLlama (chain TVL, stablecoins, DEX volume, fees, all history), CoinGecko free for categories.
- Tag every coin to ONE of about 15 sectors (L1, L2, DeFi, AI, memes by chain, gaming, RWA, perps, privacy, infra, exchange tokens, stable, wrapped, stock tokens). Drop stables, wrapped, stock tokens from every ranking (proven trap).
- The Coder builds the loaders and owns /opt/rot/db/rot.db; you define sources and tags and check the result. If the Coder is not live yet, start it yourself in /opt/rot/db/rot.db (tables: coins, daily, sectors, chains_daily). Write the row counts and coverage gaps in your status.
- If a source cannot give survivor free history, say so in one line and say what paid source would (with price). Do not buy anything.

## Task 2: the rotation clock (Day 3)
- For each bull phase (2020 to 2021, and Oct 2023 to now): which sector and which chain led each leg, start date, peak date, length in days, return vs BTC, and what showed FIRST (flow share, stablecoin growth, volume share, RS breakout, attention).
- Output: one table per cycle plus a 5 line plain summary: "In a bull, money moves A then B then C, a leg lasts N days, the first sign is X, the top sign is Y."
- Measure lead time in days for each signal before the price leg started. Signed: positive means the signal came first.

## Task 3: rules v1 (Day 5)
- Turn Task 2 into pre-registered rules for: Tide (ON / CAREFUL / OFF), Current (NOW / NEXT / FADING per sector), Boat (pick 1 to 3 leaders inside a sector, test leader vs equal weight), Exit (when to trim and sell a sector).
- Test each one by the bar in the framework file (walk forward, both periods, beat hold BTC AND basket rule v3, 1 day delay, 1% cost).
- Write each rule as PROVEN, TESTING or KILLED with its receipt numbers.
- Publish the live state as a small JSON the dashboard can read: /opt/launchwatch/pub/rot/rot-state.json on main (fields: tide, now[], next[], fading[], leaders[] with full addresses, action, updated_bkk).

## Self learning
- Register every rule BEFORE testing it, per http://159.223.88.168/hx-c9ois/rot/learning-loop.md. Send each finished rule to the Auditor (ring the supervisor, who routes it).

## Reporting
- After each task: update a1-status.md (Read this first block at top, short), publish to main, ring the supervisor once. Long runs: start in background, ONE send_later for the expected finish, no polling.
