# A2.17: second entry on a coin already traded (6 Oct 2026, 15:20 Bangkok)

## Read this first
- **Under the no-stop exits (V5), a second entry adds nothing.** Holding through the dip already catches the coins that run again. What is left after a no-stop exit is mostly dead pools.
  - "New high" re-entry: first half 0.23x (12), second half 1.38x (14).
  - "New $1M gate after a 50% drop": 3 trades, all pulled.
- **Only with the 0.6x stop does a second entry pay in both halves,** and it is small:
  - "new sellable $1M gate after a 50% drop": 1.56x (8) and 2.67x (4), +$159 and +$372 a day at $500;
  - A2.9's re-entry (price back above entry, 20+ new buyers, army ≤ 0.009) is still the better version: 1.91x / 1.79x.
- **Verdict:**
  - if the book goes no-stop (V5), drop re-entry;
  - if it keeps the 0.6x stop, keep A2.9's re-entry and do not add a "new high" entry (it loses in the first half: 0.92x).

## First principles score
7/10. The mechanism is clear: a stop creates the comeback a re-entry can catch, and no stop already keeps it. But the paying versions have only 4 to 12 trades.
