Taleo, Kenexa in Patent Dispute

gavelPTOTaleo Corp., a headhunting firm, filed patent infringement claims Monday against Kenexa Corp., which provides recruiting software, over four patents on its resume storage and retrieval system.

Taleo (TLEO) suit, filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, seeks an injunction to stop Kenexa (KNXA) sales of its product known as Kenexa Recruiter BrassRing.  The product is a web-based applicant tracking system that includes resume searching and retrieval as well as interview tracking.  Taleo alleges the product volates its patents, Nos. 324, 340, 345 and 886.

Taleo is a Dublin, California-based company.  Kenexa is based in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
